ZāGO Flexible Mouldings
Common Customer Questions
1. What are ZāGO's flexible mouldings made from?
ZāGO's
flexible mouldings are made from a polymer resin blend.
2. How much can ZāGO's flexible
mouldings be bent?
ZāGO's
flexible mouldings can be bent to fit a wide range of curves and radii.
However, for very sharp
curves, please consult with our engineer for special assistance.
3. Can ZāGO's flexible mouldings
be nailed?
Yes. All of
our mouldings can be nailed. We also recommend that you use construction
adhesive or white glue before nailing, and that you use finishing nails to
complete the job. Do not drive nails into the edge of the material, but
rather approximately in the center.
4. How are ZāGO's flexible
mouldings installed?
ZāGO's
flexible mouldings should be installed using the following process:
a. It is recommended that
you pre-drill the nail holes as close to the center of the moulding as
possible.
b. Use extra-thin layer of adhesive to attach moulding to wall;
(Bondo® recommended)
c. Nail moulding to the specified area.
5. Can ZāGO's flexible mouldings be installed outside?
Yes. However,
ZāGO's Flexible mouldings should be installed after they have been kept at
room temperature for several hours. Following proper installation, ZāGO's
flexible mouldings can withstand all climates.
6. Can ZāGO's flexible mouldings be painted and stained?
Yes. All of
ZāGO's flexible mouldings can be painted and all of our wood grain mouldings
can be stained. No primers are necessary, but make sure the mouldings are
clean. Heavy stains such as gel stains, work best.
Clear coat after staining.
7. How should ZāGO's Flexible
Mouldings be cleaned before and after painting or staining?
Before painting or
staining, ZāGO's Flexible Mouldings should be cleaned with a cloth or brush
to remove dust and dirt. Solvents, such as acetone or alcohol can also be
used. After painting or staining, the mouldings can be cleaned with a damp
cloth, soap and water.
